Motto Handguard weights are now avalible for our X-2 Handguards and will add 43oz (2.68lb) to your rifle. They come in two seperate haves (sold as a pair)and each half is held in place with 3 or 4 (depending on handguard generation) 10-32 screws. These weights have been parkerized and oiled to prevent corrosion and may be installed without removal of the handguard (low profile gas blocks only). If using a Pic rail style gas block, you will need to remove the gas block to install these weights. On handguards manufactured prior to 12/15/2023 you will need to drill out the tapped side screw holes to a clearance hole using a #7 (.201) to 7/32 (.218) drill bit.
